ADXC1: Belal Muhammad faces Tarek Suleiman in the No-gi co-main event

Looking to mix up the best grappling athletes from both the Gi and No-gi, the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) has another surprise in store for its debut event, which comes to the Mubadala Arena, in Abu Dhabi, on October 20th. After unveiling the main event headlined by Neiman Gracie and Ben Henderson, the AJP brings another match-up straight from the MMA for the fight fans.

Belal Muhammad, UFC's welterweight fighter, and Tarek Suleiman, UAE Warrior competitor, will face each other in a no-gi contest in the ADXC cage. Both athletes have shown their grappling prowess while competing in mixed martial arts and now they'll be bringing that same skillset to the ADXC, where three rounds of three minutes will decide which one is best.

Belal Muhammad is an American MMA fighter and a descendant of a Palestine family. With wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu background in grappling, Belal achieved an MMA record of 23 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no-contest. Currently fighting in the UFC welterweight division, Belal comes from a nine-win streak at the organization, with victories over high-profile Brazilian fighters who specialize in Jiu-Jitsu, like Demian Maia, Gilbert Burns, and Vicente Luque.

Tarek Suleiman is a Syrian MMA fighter, currently challenging the middleweight athletes in the UAE Warriors with his well-rounded submissions. With 12 wins in his career, Tarek took six of those via submission, with attacks on the neck usually being his weapon of choice.

This clash is only a part of the action in store for the debut edition of the ADXC. In addition to the no-gi main event, in which Neiman Gracie will go toe-to-toe with Ben Henderson, the tournament will also feature a gi main event, in which old rivals Isaque Bahiense and Gustavo Batista will put their names on the line and collide against each other for the win. With 13 fights in its card, between gi and no-gi matches, the ADXC 1 has all the makings of a memorable tournament for athletes and fight fans alike.
