New Regulation: AJP raises weight limit for male and female heaviest weight classes on GI and NO-GI competitions

The Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP) announced on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, important changes to the weigh-in regulations in all of its events. The changes are in effect immediately.

According to the Circular No. 01/2019/AJP-TD, the weight limit for the heaviest weight class in the male division changed from 110kg (242.5lb) to 120kg (264.5lb). In the female division, the weight limit for the heaviest weight class changed from 90kg (198.4lb) to 95kg (209.4lb). The new weight limits are valid both for GI and NO-GI divisions.
