Venue Rules Update

Thank you for understanding this difficult situation as we all need to follow the venue's safety protocols and policies.

 
Athletes:
You must bring all your belongings into the competition area.
You must not leave the competition area or go into the spectator area.
If you are eliminated from your bracket, you must take your belongings and immediately exit the venue.
if you are a medal winner in your bracket, you are expected to leave immediately with your belongings after your podium medal ceremony.

 
Coaches:
Coaches can only register at 8am at Ryerson to receive your wrist-band.You will not be allowed to enter the competition area to coach without a wrist-band.

Spectators:

There will be a $20 CASH charge for each spectator. NO EXCEPTIONS! Each competing athlete can bring ONE person (coach, friend or family) Only registered coaches will have free entry.


All attendees must be 12 years of age and above and must be fully vaccinated and present a digital or printed copy of the vaccination card

Vaccination Policy:

All visitors, (“visitors”) will be required to be fully vaccinated as defined by the province, and provide their proof of vaccination as well as proof of identity (such as a driver’s licence or health card) in order to gain entrance to the venue. 

The only exemptions we are accepting are the following:

Medical exemptions: Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical reasons will be permitted given they meet the provincially established requirements for medical exemption.

Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) exemptions: The Ontario Human Rights Commission has issued a statement related to protected grounds-based claims for exemption. We need to know two weeks in advance to have it reviewed by our legal team.

If exempted, users are also required to produce a documented negative COVID result from a test performed within 72 hours of entrance.In order to enter the facility, each individual will need to show the Covid-19 Vaccination Receipt from the Ministry of HealthEach person should have received an email on the day they got vaccinated with the receipt.

It should be titled “Does Administration Receipt”. 

If individuals have not received their vaccination receipt from the Ministry of Health, please send them these instructions:
