ADGS: Master from around the globe are set to compete in Rome

With just ten days to go until the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour Rome, the AJP’s first major event of 2025 is set to bring elite competition to Italy. Athletes from around the world are ready to battle for gold and valuable ranking points, whether they are local competitors or international contenders traveling across the globe to compete at the Centro Olimpico Matteo Pellicone from February 21st to 23rd.

The Masters division, in particular, showcases Jiu-Jitsu’s global reach, featuring dedicated athletes from diverse nationalities. Among them are Gevorg Arutyunyan (Armenia), Marko Oikarainen (Finland), Nicolas Ponce (Chile), Dzhimsher Razmadze (Georgia), and Artem Kaygarodov (Russia), just to name a few of the most seasoned travelers.

Adding to the excitement, homegrown stars Serena Gabrielli and Luca Anacoreta will represent Italy, while international standouts like Lina Grosset (France) and Denise Krahn (Germany) promise thrilling performances. And, of course, the ever-dangerous Brazilian contingent, including Emerson Cassio, Thiago Macedo, and Jackson Sousa, will be ones to watch.
