August 29, 2024

The next chapter of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam is almost here. Set to take place this weekend, between August 30th and September 1st, the ADGS Moscow 2024 will bring the fires of competition to the cold lands of Russia, inviting athletes from all over the world to join the event and fight for the chance to become a champion in one of the most challenging tournaments in the AJP's roster.

Joining the fray on August 31st, the Master category is all geared up to step up to the mats and put on memorable showings of skill and experience as each of their warriors seeks the coveted gold medal in Moscow during the tournament's second day. One of the most competitive groups within the category, the Master 1 division is always a treat for fight fans, bringing some of the most technical and strategic black belts in the game to clash for the chance to become an ADGS champion.

Standing out in the Master 1 division, some familiar faces from the AJP circuit will be bringing the heat to Moscow, like Thiago Marques, Emerson Cassio, Matheus "Ta Danado" Xavier, Jackson Sousa, and Felipe Bezerra, all representing Brazil across the world. However, these Brazilian powerhouses will have their work cut out for them as other countries will also be bringing their heavy hitters to fight for the gold, like Belgium's Paulo Brasil, Dzhimsher Razmadze, from Georgia, and Dmitrii Vostrikov, a local black belt whose skills landed him at a high position in the AJP's European ranking. With no shortage of talent to fight for the lead, the Master 1 category stands to be one of the most memorable categories in the event.
