ADXC 6: Umar Nurmagomedov and Dudu Dantas go toe-to-toe in the Grappling Main Event

September 30, 2024

With its sixth tournament set to take place on October 25th, the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship has already begun steadily unveiling the fights that will be part of the upcoming card. Coming as the third duel confirmed for the ADXC 6, the Grappling Main Event will bring Umar Nurmagomedov and Eduardo "Dudu" Dantas to face off in a featherweight bout.

Hailing from Russia, Umar Nurmagomedov comes to make his debut in the ADXC. Signed with UFC in 2021, Umar is an MMA athlete with a professional career that dates back as far as 2016. With 18 victories to his name and seven of those coming via guillotines and rear-naked chokes, Umar has an impressive total of zero losses in his almost eight years in the game. Mixing experience and technique with sheer ruthlessness, Umar is one of the deadliest contenders to ever join the tournament, and anyone planning to face him in the ADXC cage is in for a rough time.

On the other side of the battlefield, the Brazilian Dudu Dantas also joins the ADXC for the first time. An MMA fighter with almost 20 years of experience backing his skills, Dudu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Dede Pederneiras, founder of Nova União team, and former two-time Bellator Bantamweight champion. With a record of 23 victories and eight losses, Dudu knows his way around a cage like few others, and he'll be ready to use that knowledge to spring his merciless chokes and armbars on anyone who dares cross his path in the ADXC cage.

The ADXC 6 is set to land at the Mubadala Arena, in the UAE, on October 25th, with all fights broadcast live and exclusively on the TX7.com platform. Follow @adxcofficial on social media as the organization unveils the next matches of the upcoming card, and we'll see you in Abu Dhabi!
