he Pedro Sauer Jiu-Jitsu Association Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Singapore is proudly affiliated with The Pedro Sauer Jiu-Jitsu Association. Pedro Sauer is an 8th degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coral belt under the legendary Grand Master Helio and Master Rickson Gracie. Master Sauer is revered as one of the pioneers of the gentle art in the United States, having moved from Brazil to the United States with the Gracie family in the early 1990s. Since arriving, he has captured a legion of followers through lectures and seminars as well as for his skill as an instructor, having developed several high level black belts. In 2005 he was voted by an online poll as the “Best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor” in the world. More about, the head of our Association, Pedro Sauer here. Head Instructor Vladimir Popovic Life Journey Vladimir started training martial arts at the age of just 14years old. He began his journey with Judo and received his Judo black belt in 2014 from the Serbian Judo Federation. He started learning the Art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu when he was 21 years old, and received his black belt in 2019 under Master Pedro Sauer and Professor Thiago Gianneli Bertoni.He has competed nationally (Serbia) and Internationally (Europe and Asia), in both sports, at all levels. Vlad graduated with both a Bachelor and Master degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Education from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Has been a full-time coach in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo for over 10 years now and has worked in Serbia, Kuwait and now Singapore.
