ADXC 5: The organization unveils the entire Preliminary Card and completes the tournament

Set to take place in less than a month, the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship marks a homecoming for the organization, which will be once again hosting an event in the modern Mubadala Arena. With the Main Events and Card already out in the wild, the ADXC decided to cut back on the mystery and revealed the entire Preliminary Card in one fell swoop, giving fight fans a clearer picture of what they can expect on August 2nd.

With five matches in the prelims, Omar Al Suwaidi will face Samuel Marquez while Seilkhan Bolatbek goes toe-to-toe against Eman Ahmedin. Still in the card, Yara Kakish fights Zafeiria Panagiotarakou, Xiaosong Shi goes up against Abe Alsaghir, and Balqees Alhashmi opens the tournament facing Maria Odintsova.

An ADXC veteran, Omar Al Suwaidi is back in the organization after an explosive match on ADXC 2, but this time he'll have to don his gi and contend with Samuel Marquez, an experienced black belt who's used to competing and taking gold medals all over the world. Before that, ADXC 3 champion Seilkhan Bolatbek returns to the cage looking to land another winning submission in the upcoming Grappling bout, but 10th Planet's Emad Ahmedin will be ready to put that unorthodox style to work as he makes his debut in the UAE.

Two AJP veterans clashing in the Preliminary Card, Jordan's Yara Kakish and Greece's Zaifeiria Panagiotarakou put their skills on full display in a Jiu-Jitsu bout in the heart of the organization. Representing China, brown belt Xiaosong Shi enters the cage to show his prowess in a Grappling bout against Abe Alsaghir, a professional MMA fighter out of Michigan, in the US, who has almost half of his victories coming via submission. Last but not least, purple belts Balqees Alhashmi and Maria Odintsova kick off the competition with a Jiu-Jitsu match as they vie for the chance to add a high-profile victory to their resumés.

The ADXC 5 is set to land at the Mubadala Arena on August 2nd and will be broadcast live and exclusively on the TX7.com platform. With its card now completed, the tournament is on track to another stellar showing led by Urijah Faber vs Bibiano Fernandes in the Grappling Main Event, and Rayron Gracie vs Marcos Carrozzino in the Jiu-Jitsu Main Event.
