ADXC 10: Rogerio Bontorin and Askar Askarov face off in a Grappling bout

May 8, 2025

The preparations for the tenth edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship have already begun, with the organization bringing some of the toughest athletes on the international scene to put on a memorable show as it lands in the Russian capital of Moscow for the first time. With the event set to take place at the Voleybol'Naya Arena Dynamo on May 31st, Rogerio Bontorin and Askar Askarov join the card with a Grappling bout in the featherweight division.

Hailing from Brazil, Rogerio Bontorin is back in the ADXC. A professional MMA athlete with 11 out of his 17 victories in the sport coming via submission, Rogerio has already made a name for himself in the organization's cage during the ADXC 6, joining the event during the fight week and defeating Muhammad Mokaev after an explosive battle of takedown attempts and submission attacks in the Grappling Main Event. Now looking to add another win to his resumé, Rogerio makes his way to Moscow bearing the full might of his grappling arsenal and cage experience to overcome a new opponent.

Meanwhile, Askar Askarov makes his ADXC debut. Nicknamed "Bullet", Askar is a Russian mixed martial artist with over a decade of experience in the sport and 15 victories to his name, with seven of those coming via submission. Having competed in some of the main stages of the sport, Askar is an MMA veteran who knows his way around a cage and brings a Grappling style that has been tailored to be the most effective in that setting, so be ready to see a show as he unleashes his chokes and armbars to take his first ADXC win in his homeland.

The ADXC 10 is set to take place in Moscow on May 31st, with all fights broadcast live and exclusively on the TX7.com platform. Follow @adxcofficial on social media to stay up-to-date on all things ADXC, and we'll see you in Russia!
