ADXC1: Roberto Cyborg and Anton Minenko join the card in a No-Gi duel

In another addition to the star-studded card of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship, a grappling legend will face a fierce challenger in the tournament's cage. On October 20th, Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu makes his way to the Mubadala Arena, bringing all his might and experience to face the Australian black belt Anton Minenko.

Like the other superfights of the event, the match will be divided into three rounds, each with three minutes of duration. In a no-gi match, Cyborg and Minenko will rise to the ADXC cage, using every weapon in their arsenal to take the win in Abu Dhabi.

A well-known athlete who has been fighting amongst the sport's elite for years, Cyborg needs no introduction. The Fight Sports leader excels in combat with and without the gi, and will be coming to the ADXC looking for another chance to showcase the power, flexibility, and cunning that only a veteran can have. With powerful takedowns and beautiful sweeps in his repertoire, Cyborg is ready to put on a show for the fight fans.

Coming from Brisbane, Australia, Anton Minenko is hungry to make a name for himself in the grappling scene. After graduating as a black belt in 2018, Anton has gotten far with his fighting style, taking the gold in the major AJP events in his home country and putting his skills to the test against the best his division has to offer. With his talent and achievements, Anton has earned the chance to challenge Cyborg in the ADXC superfight.

In addition to the Cyborg vs. Minenko, the ADXC debut card will feature 13 more duels. The No-Gi main event will see Neiman Gracie going up against Ben Henderson, while the Gi main event will stoke the fires of rivalry between Isaque Bahiense and Gustavo Batista. Last but not least, Belal Muhammad and Tarek Suleiman will go toe-to-toe in the co-main event without the gi. And there's still more to come, with other match-ups being revealed as we approach the big day.
